Major General Luís Azevedo was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 177th Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]
History
Azevedo was assigned to garrison the Taurian Concordat world of Amber Grove, but despite it being apparently far more stable than most in the Concordat, he resisted suggestions to redeploy his 177th Mechanized Infantry Division to more turbulent worlds.
Azevedo believed the apparent calm was a false front, and any withdrawal of troops would allow the local population to rise in open rebellion.[1]
