In an unruly and disorganized unit like the First Raiders, Captain Barrett stood out. Barrett requested assignment to the unit, as she was the granddaughter of the Raiders' founder, and since assuming command of her company had molded them into the equal of any Davion Guards unit in terms of ability and cohesion. Rumor had it that Barrett would be promoted to Major to see if she could do the same thing to an entire battalion.[1]
