• Köningsberg is evidently named after the historical Hanseatic League city of Königsberg, also known as "Koningsbergen" and "Kaliningrad". It has been confirmed by author and BattleTech cartographer Øystein Tvedten that "Köningsberg" is the correct canonical spelling; it is Low German, which was the real Hanse's lingua franca.
