John Hayes was a member of the Black Widow Company, Wolf's Dragoons.[2]

History

He was a very competent MechWarrior in Wolf's Dragoons until he was charged with unauthorized looting by his commander and after that was assigned to the Black Widow Company, where Natasha Kerensky controlled him with a combination of fees for theft and bonus for gallantry in combat.[2]

He joined the Black Widow Company after New Delos and participated in all its actions until 3025.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

In the Battle for Dromini VI a DropShip Pilot mistakenly launched Hayes with an incorrect angle during the drop assault resulting in heavy damage to his BattleMech.
