The Inheritors were a more extreme sect of the Antithesis Creed and were common within former holdings of the Rim Worlds Republic.

History[edit]

The Inheritors originated in response to the horrors of the Succession Wars. They believed that the Successor States would destroy or deplete each other, to the extent that an army raised in the Periphery would arise and conquer the Inner Sphere.[1]

In order to realize their destiny, the Inheritors believed it was imperative to clandestinely build another military-industrial complex within the Periphery, comparable with that of the Rim Worlds Republic. However, some Inheritors were not necessarily outwardly militant, realizing it may have been more important to survive until the time for action was near—many Inheritor groups were actively involved in survivalist/separatist communities.[1]
