Ilsa J. Bick, former surgeon, child psychiatrist, and air force major,[1] has penned a number of short stories and novels including work for BattleTech, Shadowrun, and Star Trek.
She began writing for BattleTech, and later also MechWarrior: Dark Age, as a BattleCorps author in 2004. Her inaugural story there was Damage Control, published on 2 August 2004.
As of 2008, her "About the Author" profile in the first BattleCorps print anthology, The Corps, said she lived in Wisconsin with her husband and two children.[2]
