After the Reunification War, I Corps was rebuilt by creating new regiments from the shattered remains of the 111th, 122nd, and 129th Concordat Chasseurs. These regiments were known as the Brinton Defenders. In 2765 two of these regiments were deployed to protect terraforming efforts on Rockwellawan and Artru. The third regiment was stationed on Brinton.

For decades the brigade saw no great variation, but this changed in the thirty-first century. Since the ratification of the Trinity Alliance the composition of the regiments has varied significantly. Originally two Taurian commands and one mercenary unit were the core of the formation. But the losses suffered during the Chaos March campaign and through the St. Ives Compact war was too much for the Concordat Jaegers. The command was merged with the Velites of the Taurian Guard Corps to bring them back to full strength.

After Grover Shraplen became the Protector of the Concordat, the members of I Corps were outspoken in their criticism of his actions. This led to the TDF command downgrading their loyalty. The Corps was also scattered across several systems.
