The Falcon forces' first opponents were the Militia's company of [[aerospace fighter]]s. In the course of the ensuing battle, only a single Falcon aerospace fighter was lost while the entire Militia fighter force was wiped out by the Clan pilots, which included pilots with the Von Jankmon Bloodname. On the ground, Turkina Keshik bulldozed through the Militia's conventional fighters and VTOLs attempting to defend the planet's spaceport. The Hot Springs TMM was forced back to the planetary capital where they prepared to make their last stand.
