Side:
While the policy on canoncity is still being developed at BattleTechWiki, please refrain from amending exisiting articles by not inserting fan-fictional material into the article without the proper identification. One possible idea would be to create a sub-section that introduces the fan-fiction within the relevant area of the article, and then provide a reference to where more information could be had.

Description

Strictly Illegall due to its use of nuclear weapons the Nadin dropships was self manufactured by the merc unit "Dogs of War" as their personal transport ship. The great advantage the Nadin has over over dropships of its size is that 50% of its weight is armour although this has the knock on effect that its oversized engines don't make it any faster than normal. The Nadin is designed to withstand alot of fire, infact it was once used as a ram to demolish a mech construction plant owned by Wolfs Dragoons.

Armament

Virtually a gun with engines the Nadins weapons are evenly distibuted between the front, back and sides. Front: 2 ERLarge Lasers act as a deterent to light mechs and vehicles during landing. As its main weapons the Nadin mounts 2 Naval Lasers of the same type that took down the dropship Hammer. The Nadins most powerfull weapon, also the one that makes it illegal is a Nuclear Missle Launcher with 4 Realoads.

Rear: 6 ERLarge Lasers give the Nadins rear an unusually high amount of protection, a testament to the thoroughness of the Dogs of War Technisions.

Side: The nadin has 2 turrets on each side, each with a 180 degree firing range. Each turret has 1 Lincked Cappacitator PPC and 1 Railgun with 200 Ammo.

Cargo

The Nadins cargo bay is relativly small for a 40.000 Ton dropship due to the amount of space taken up by armour and weapons but still has enough space to hold the Dogs of War's 2 Lances of Behemoth 2 assault mechs.

Variants

Due to its one off construction their are no known varients but their is rumour of a second backup ship hidden somewhere in the outer pheriphery.
