History

Helmut's Legion (not to be confused with Helmut's Hermits, who were destroyed during the Jihad) were a mercenary unit under Colonel Lauren Helmut, and as of 31 December 3145 were under contract to the Lyran Commonwealth and stationed on Ciotat, Furillo and Trent. At this time they were considered a reliable veteran unit, with A-rated equipment and at 75% nominal strength.[1]
