Vice Admiral Hang Verry was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 82nd Reconnaissance Squadron as of 2764.[1]

Based near the Lyran Commonwealth's Free Worlds League border, Vice Admiral Verry's Squadron nearly caused an international incident early in 2764, firing on a Marik WarShip which unexpectedly misjumped to a Pirate Point near a Lyran world. Mistakenly believing the WarShip's appearance was an act of war, Verry's error was only salvaged by the Marik Captain, who elected to explain the MisJump rather than returning fire .[1]
