Leftenant General Murray, serving with the Tikonov Martial Academy Training Group, was stationed on Tikonov in 3050 and remained there by 3062.[2] A native of New Hessen, Murray understood the conflicting loyalties that tormented his cadets. Dedicated to his job and to preparing his students for service to their nation (whichever nation that may be), the continuing terrorism on Tikonov seriously interfered with Murray's sense of honor, duty, and loyalty.
