The battlemech flail is a physical attack weapon developed in the arenas of Solaris VII. Patterned after the similar but more unwieldly wrecking ball, the battlemech flail is still dangerous to use. Especially bad missed swings can inflict damage on the users own 'mech as the striking end rebounds, or even knock down the user completely.
