"Baldur" was mortally wounded during the Trial and was transported to a hospital to treat his injuries. With his dying breath, "Baldur" asked Paul to honor two requests from him: to lead their people until their revival came and to remind [[Victor Steiner-Davion]] of his folly of how badly he treated him during the Great Refusal. With these promises made, "Baldur" succumbed to his wounds. However, unlike their progenitors, they eschewed the caste system as they believed it was too restrictive on their society's belief in freedom.
