Description
The Extended Range Flamer (or ER Flamer) was a longer-range, weaker version of the fusion-based Flamer. First developed by Clan Jade Falcon in 3067 and introduced to the Inner Sphere by the Federated Suns in 3070, the ER Flamer used improved magnetic coils and a narrower muzzle to achieve greater distance. This came at the expense of inflicting heat on its target. While it is just as damaging, the ER version only forced its enemy to build half as much heat.[1]
