Erik Davidson was the Valdherre of Bruben during the Ronin War.[1]

On 2 May 3034, rogue elements of Bruben's Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery garrison under the command of Tai-i Marcus Hirimatsu attempted to overthrow Bruben's Rasalhagian government. While the attack on the planetary HPG station was quickly thwarted due to the relationship between Valdherre Davidson and Demi-Precentor Corvin Mantyrius, the attempt on Davidson's life was not pushed back as cleanly. The ensuing three-hour battle between Ronin soldiers and Davidson's Cameron's Legion protectors left nearly five hundred Bruben civilians dead. In 3035, Davidson would declare 2 May a national holiday on Bruben in remembrance and celebration of those killed in the planet's fight for freedom, thus 2 May became known as Freedom Day.[1]
