The Eban Emael was a JumpShip of unspecified type used to deploy two battalions of CCAF Death Commandos to the Northwind system on standby in late 3057. The Death Commandos were sent an Abort signal on 20 October and never descended on the planet.

It was noted that the Eban Emael had a "one-kilometer jump sail", suggesting it was either a Merchant- (jump sail diameter 950 meters) or an Invader-class (jump sail diameter 1,025 meters) vessel. A battery room is mentioned where the charging process from the jump sail is monitored, suggesting the ship may be equipped with a Lithium-Fusion Battery.
