==Description==
Originally designed for the [[Republic of the Sphere]], the '''''Doloire''''' was created as the [[Republic Armed Forces]] flagship [[OmniMech]]. The Republic utilized scientists from [[Clan]] enclaves within The Republic to design the assault OmniMech as a powerful and important symbol of cooperation between all citizens, [[Inner Sphere]] and Clan.

The ''Doloire'' was first produced within The Republic in [[3121]], being produced by StarCorps on [[Terra]]. The design would continue into service and secretly be part of the rebuilding of the RAF behind the walls of [[Fortress Republic]]. ==Weapons and Equipment==
The ''Doloire'' was designed using [[Technology Rating|advanced forms]] of Clan and Inner Sphere technology of the era. Designed as an OmniMech with thirty-two tons of [[pod space]] for weapons and equipment, engineers used [[Endo-Composite]] for its chassis as well as a durable Clan 320-rated [[XL engine|Extra Light Fusion Engine]]. While not the fastest among its peers on the battlefield, the 'Mech is able to handle a respectable amount of incoming fire with its nearly-fifteen tons of [[ArcShield VII Mk.7]] [[standard armor]].

The 'Mech's fixed armaments are a pair of Clan [[Series 2f]] [[Extended Range Medium Laser]]s mounted in the center torso. The primary configuration of the ''Doloire'' mounts a pair of highly-accurate Clan [[Large Pulse Laser]]s mounted each of the 'Mech's arms. Their accuracy is increased with the presence of [[Actuator Enhancement System]]s placed in each arm. For long-ranged attacks, the prime configuration includes a Clan-tech [[Gauss rifle]] with sixteen rounds of ammunition found in the right torso. To help with the 'Mech's heat, four additional Clan-made [[Double Heat Sink]]s are added to the configuration.
