Description
Introduced by the Free Worlds League near end the of the Star League Era to head off violence as results of reduction of Civil Liberties. Dixon were created as mobile police stations for heavy urban areas. It can carrying over 50 police officers to any location they are needed.
The Airship design armor is not design withstand military combat. Some of these ships were utilized as command vehicles during Anton Revolt and lost two vehicles to Loyalist Aerospace fighters.
Armaments & Capacities
The air ship's principle anti-riot weaponry include four sprayers (2 mounted front, 1 per side), pumping 9 tons of water at unruelly crowds. Its secondary weaponry for anti-personnel/riot-control comes in the form of four Machine Guns, three mounted on its nose and one mounted aft. The ship carries five tons of ammunition for these guns. It also has pair of Medium Lasers for anti-vehicle combat, with 1 gun per side.
The ship is equipt to hold two infantry platoon worth of troops and light vehicles. Dixons have communication equipment to coordinate its troops and work with other civil forces.
Cargo Capacities
It has 9 ton liquid cargo capacity, While its it has three light vehicle bays and two foot platoon bays. The troop & equipment are unloaded through 3 doors found on the nose and both left and right wing sections.
