Written in German and exclusively published in that language so far, Die Kanonen von Thunder Rock does not meet the current criteria for Canon in the BattleTech universe. As an official product published under a valid license, it should be regarded as apocryphal.

"My Love... I give you the Capellan Confederation." August 3028. On the day of his wedding to Melissa Steiner of all days, Hanse Davion, First Prince of the Federated Suns, launches the attack on House Liao. Among the units in the first wave are Colonel Walther Hokala's Screaming Eagles mercenaries. They are to establish a bridgehead on the Capellan border world of Pleione for following troops.
