The Demeter Militia was the militia unit assigned to defend Demeter.[1]
History
On 23 April 3022, the Demeter Militia suffered an attack by a mercenary unit, the Northstar Irregulars. The militia was defeated without inflicting a single loss on the Irregulars.[1]

Before the April attack by the Northstar Irregulars, the Demeter Militia had at least two lances of BattleMechs. They lost seven 'Mechs in the fight, a Firestarter escaping.[1]
