History
David McCarthy was born on Kathil.
He was a Kommandant of the First Kathil Uhlans that survived the fighting on Huntress during that unit's actions in Task Force Serpent.
He choose not to join the Second Star League forces like his fellow Uhlans and re-enlisting in his homeworld's military. For his ties to Prince Victor Steiner-Davion, the Archon-Princess demoted him to Captain.
He took over command of his battalion with a field promotion to Major after the Kathil CMM XO, Leftenant Colonel Damien Zibler, was killed in the initial engagement between the CMM and the 8th FedCom RCT.
It is unknown what came of him and his command by the conclusion of the Battle of Kathil.[1]
