Darkweed, found on Kwangjong-ni, is a towering, hardy species of seaweed. Growing exclusively underwater and up to 100 meters tall, darkweed can form aquatic forests of sorts, housing the planet's plentiful ocean life. The seaweed is strong enough to entangle even BattleMechs that try to move through it.[1]
