Cynthia Evans was the commanding officer of the First Canopian Light Horse as of 3025.[1]
History
Major Evans, serving with the First Canopian Light Horse, was stationed on Megrez in 3025.[1] When the Magistracy of Canopus invaded the Capellan Confederation as part of the 3030 Andurien Secession, Evans and the First Light Horse were sent to take the planet Drozan alongside a moderate mercenary force. Evans' primary objective was the elimination of the defending Warrior House Dai Da Chi which, if removed, would allow the Canopian military to achieve a link up with their Andurien allies. Most of Evans' forces were not used to fighting trained, experienced Inner Sphere opponents and the ensuing conflict against the Warrior House proved to be just as damaging to the Canopians as it was to the Capellans.
