The DropShip Crimson Dancer was a Union-Class that was converted into a cargo carrier circa 2984 and that more or less twenty years later was bought by the Silver Fist Shipping company in a bank sale. At that time it was discovered that the ship had numerous smuggling compartment, which were not sealed and kept used to transport anything without informing custom officials.[1]
At some unespecified point one of the hidden compartments was upgraded to serve to a combined workroom and quartes where a team of hackers working for Ulysses Steiner made their magic on intelligence and sabotage missions.[1]
In 3083 the ship's captain was Gregory Rand.[1]
