A border conflict between the newly-formed Lyran Commonwealth and Draconis Combine erupted in 2364, noted to be the worst in 20 years. The battle, involving a regiment of Kuritan infantry and a battalion of Skye armor, contributed to the instability of the "false start" of the Lyran Commonwealth, as Davis Kelswa used, among economic problems, to openly discuss leaving the Commonwealth.
