Galaxy Commander Clarence Pryde was the commander of Clan Jade Falcon's Rho Galaxy, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Pryde Bloodhouse, from at least 3141 to 3151.[1][2][3]

Personal Appearance[edit]

An older warrior as of 3141, Pryde's dark-brown hair was thinning considerably, which contrasted with his bushy mustache and black beard.[3][4]

History[edit]

Mad Stampede[edit]

Pryde led Rho Galaxy, from the Denizli based Twelfth Falcon Regulars, between at least 3141 and 3145.[1] In 3141 Pryde witnessed a Clan Hell's Horses Mad Stampede which was conducted on Denizli from 2 February, and tasked his aide Star Colonel Robert to put together a Star of fast BattleMechs and combat vehicles to interfere with its progress, which Robert commanded with Pryde from the Jade Falcon's headquarters. One of their young warriors, Kerbit, got himself killed in his obsession to kill some Horses, to Clarence's surprise.[3]

Battle of Terra[edit]

Pryde remained in command of Rho Galaxy during the Battle of Terra in 3151, including the IlClan Trial, though as an anti-Mongol leader Khan Malvina Hazen ignored his advice when planning her strategy to fight Clan Wolf.[2] His contribution included fighting in the Falcon's European campaign against the Republic of the Sphere, in both France and the siege of Geneva[5], as well as successfully defending the Falcon's primary supply post near Winnipeg during the IlClan Trial against an attack by the Wolves' Seventy-ninth Wolf Battle Cluster.[4]

Philosophical and/or political views[edit]

Pryde, together with his aide Star Colonel Robert, were Traditionalists within the Jade Falcons. They rejected Khan Malvina Hazen's Mongol Doctrine, which was the cause of their posting to the backwater world of Denizli from at least 3141, with limited prospects for further advancement.[3]
