Christian Kell (Born 3026) is an Mechwarrior officer in the Kell Hounds Mercenary Unit. He is the son of Patrick Kell and ethnic Draconis Combine artist Takara.
Christian's birth was unknown to Patrick, whom Takara decided not to tell, so he would not be forced to stay with him.
After his mother's death, he discovered the identity of his father. He also found out that he had a brother. He confronted his uncle at the age of 16 in 3042 on the world of Arboris.[1] After he presented evidence of his origin, Morgan took leave absence from the Unit and took him to Outreach, where he was trained by the Wolf's Dragoons as officer.

Christian's first name was chosen by his mother to reflect that he was the son of a Christian man.[citation needed]
