Description
The Cave Lion is a Heavy Class BattleMech which was originally manufactured by Clan Nova Cat and Clan Sea Fox in 3122. The Cave Lion was first conceived as part of the Nova Cat's efforts to rebuild their war-torn Touman due to devastation of the Second Combine-Dominion War. It would take decades until election of Khan Jacali Nostra who convinced DCMS in 3120 get permission start production of what would be Clan Nova Cat's first new design enter production since 31st Century. The Nova Cats's resources had been limited due in part by the Draconis Combine's restriction they had imposed on rebuilding the Cat's production facilities. It would outside aide to help prop the Nova Cat's facilities to produce the new design. They would turn to seek aid from Clan Sea Fox's Tiburon Khanate, who offer to upgrade production facilities in turn have access to the Cave Lion's production.
