History

As of 3067, a commemorative plaque aboard the bicentennial JumpShip Sanibel indicates the Sanibel to be one of a run of Tramp-class JumpShips involved in the early colonization of what would become Melissia and Timbuktu Theaters of the Lyran Commonwealth, naming its sister ships as the Canaveral, the Largo, the Key West and the Captiva.[1] All but the Sanibel and the Largo were cited as lost, though the Sanibel at the time had dealings with the Captiva, or another vessel by the same name, calling into question if the other supposedly lost ships were really lost.

The Captiva appears to have still been operating as of 3137, when as a Rim Commonality registered civilian JumpShip, it transported Christopher Marik to Tamarind.[2]
