History
The SLS Cairo was a WarShip serving in the SLDF Eleventh Fleet during the Periphery Uprising. When rebels in the Taurian Concordat used a fuel ship to destroy the flagship of the Eleventh Fleet, the Texas-class battleship SLS Nebraska, the SLS Cairo was badly damaged by debris from the explosion. Whereas the SLS Nebraska was lost, the SLS Cairo managed to continue combat operations, despite having taken heavy damage.[1]
