Ariadne Sherbow was a mercenary during the Clan Invasion era.

History[edit]

Ariadne Sherbow joined the Waco Rangers sometime prior to 3058. Along with Hector Shirotan and Parker LaBelle, Sherbow participated in the Battle of Coventry (3058) as part of Lieutenant Manny Totske's lance within Leonard McCarthy's company.[1]

On 21 April, the Rangers and Crazy Eights led a flank attack against Clan Jade Falcon warriors via the Dales Highlands, with McCarthy's company forming the regiment's right flank. McCarthy's arrogance and dismissal of Lyran scout leader Caradoc Trevena led them to fall into a Falcon ambush.[2]

Sherbow's BattleMech was critically damaged and she became the first of her lance to die when a Gauss round impacted her cockpit, killing her instantly.[3] In the end, her lance's only survivor was Manny Totske. He managed to escape, though traumatized. The loss of his comrades and the refusal of McCarthy to admit his errors resulted in Totske abandoning the Rangers.[4]

Sherbow was described as a short and petite woman, with short blond hair and an animated face. In 3090, a picture memorializing her and her lancemates was hung on the Memory Wall in the Cracked Canopy MechWarrior's bar on Solaris VII.[5]

BattleMech[edit]

Ariadne Sherbow's only known 'Mech was a Griffin.[1]
