History[edit]

Under construction in 3062, the Avalon-class cruiser Andrew Davion was expected to enter service at some point in 3065, at which point it would have become the sixth of seven ships of the class. Also under construction at the same time were two sister ships, the Hanse Davion—due to launch the same year as the Andrew Davion—and the Robert Davion, due to launch in 3063.[1]

The beginning of the Capellan-St. Ives War saw two Avalons launched from shipyards early, the Lucien Davion and Simon Davion[2] and history would repeat itself when the FedCom Civil War erupted, with various factions launching WarShips that were still in construction to either bolster their forces or deny potentially potent military resources to their opponents. Both the Hanse Davion and the Robert Davion were launched early by forces loyal to Katherine Steiner-Davion, and while both are confirmed as having fought during the Civil War, the status of the Andrew Davion was reported as "missing in action" during the assessment of those forces to survive or be lost during the war.[3]

Notes[edit]

No detail is available on when the Andrew Davion was launched or went missing; there are no records of the ship having been found or reappearing during either the Jihad or Dark Age.
