- Takayoshi Fuchida and Thomas Kearny begin publishing papers on hyperdimensional motion within subatomic particles.
- During their work at Stanford University on the prototype fusion reactor, Fuchida and Kearny notice anomalies inconsistent with the known laws of physics.
