Overview
At one time headed by Admiral (and future Khan of Clan Snow Raven) Stephen McKenna,[1] the Star League Exploration Command was tasked with a similar mandate as that of the later ComStar organization.
Science/Survey squadrons of JumpShips, DropShips, and occasionally WarShips were charged with expanding human knowledge and discovering new systems. Solitary vessels to over a dozen ships performed science mission for months or years at a time.[2]
