MechWarrior Saho Yeh was a founding member of Clan Goliath Scorpion and the Yeh Bloodname.[1]

History

Early Life

Yeh was the son of a former commander of the 29th Royal Dragoon Regiment, who grew up on the Exodus Fleet, idolizing Aleksandr Kerensky both during the trip through the Deep Periphery and later on the Pentagon Worlds. Following Aleksandr's death, he transferred his loyalty to his son Nicholas Kerensky, and had no hesitation following him on the Second Exodus in 2801.

Once on Strana Mechty he was inspired to train hard, becoming a skilled light BattleMech pilot, and passing his trials to become one of the youngest member's of the new Clans warrior caste. Assigned to Clan Goliath Scorpion, he was provided with a Falcon 'Mech, which he used for the rest of his life.[2]

Operation Klondike

Yeh participated in Operation Klondike, ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky's campaign to reconquer the Pentagon Worlds.[1] On 29 July 2821 this included participating in landings on Dagda seeking to defeat the McMillan Collective, and capture their stronghold Firebase Delta.

While he is sometimes noted as the only Scorpion MechWarrior to survive the assault on Firebase Delta following the boobytrap which resulted in nine Scorpion MechWarriors from one Binary falling into a lava field[2], in reality that distinction was shared with Star Captain Kami Sword, who was the one MechWarrior of the lost Binary who did not join them in the lava.[3]

While both Yeh and Sword fought on following the losses at Firebase Delta, they both suffered from the experience, which in Yeh's case was expressed via resentment against Clan Widowmaker, [[Clan Burrock] and Clan Fire Mandrill, for allowing then Scorpions to face the hardest battles on Dagda unsupported.[2]

Late Career and Death

Following Klondike, Yeh often sought trials against the Clans he blamed for the Goliath Scorpion's losses, and was always at the forefront of these engagements. The resulted in his death in 2828, during one such trial against Clan Burrock.[2]

BattleMech

Yeh was known to pilot a Falcon BattleMech.[2]
