Broken Point
Loremaster Edmund Hoyt's 1st Striker Cluster, new the the Inner Sphere, have landed on Hyner on 7 November 3051, only to find forces from the 2nd Arkab Legion in Star League Era BattleMechs seeking to harass and delay their advance.
Ashes, Ashes, They All Fall Down
For almost a week after the initial invasion of Hyner the 2nd Arkab Legion had been on the run. They’d used their experience as a fast unit to harass and annoy the Smoke Jaguars. As their frustration increased the Jaguars caught a break: an interrogation of a prisoner revealed the location of an Arkab supply depot. Aware of the importance to their enemy, Loremaster Hoyt ordered a scratch force into action to destroy the depot. The Arkab Legion caught wind of this and hurriedly threw together a force to protect the depot.
