Shaun Fitzwilliam was, as of 3067, a Master Sergeant in the Free Worlds League Military and an instructor at the Nellus Academy on Nestor.[1]

Shaun, coming from an infantry background, became an instructor at the Nellus Academy as a favor for Torin Szasz.[2]
Shaun served as the primary teacher and superior officer for eight Nellus cadets who were sent along with General Gurald Eichner on an October 3067 trip to Concord, sent in part to help detect a Lyran Alliance spy.[3] When Shaun received word that the Bloody Stoats had attempted to hijack their DropShip and that the cadets were stranded on Phobos with the mercenaries, he participated in the partly-successful rescue operation.[4] He also debriefed the four survivors (Allegra Greene, Aster Holloway, Rustin Lake, and Sigrid Zelenova).[5]
