System Description
The Cirebon system is located near the Marathon and Nullarbor systems.[3]
The database of the (apocryphal) 1989 video game MechWarrior, set around the year 3025, gives a population of 4.631 billion for Cirebon and describes the environment as "tropical" (out of only three broad impressions of planetary environments given in the game, these being "desert", "ice", or "tropical"). The description one-liner reads "Large computer and aerospace industries."
System History
The Cirebon system was colonized at some point during or shortly before the Age of War.[4][5]
During the final years of the Star League, Cirebon served as the headquarters world for the XIII Corps of the Star League Defense Forces.[6]
Cirebon was the home to a large chemical industry that imported rare earths from Alula Australis.[7]
