Jay J. Carmody had been fighting for his father's Stables with on May 15th 3057 he fought Dawn without knowing she was a renegade Clan trueborn MechWarrior and thinking that was her first fight in the Arenas.
He tried to fight unfair and used a jamming device on her modified Shadow Hawk. That enraged her and he killed him, crushing his 'Mech's head.[1]
