Planetary History
The Dark Age
In 3092 the Marian Hegemony conquered Merton in the face of a determined defense by Comacho's Caballeros. The Hegemony was only able to hold Merton for two years, however; in 3094 a rebellion on the planet threw the Hegemony out, and Merton would remain an independent worlds until the Free Worlds League reformed in 3136.[6]
