Planetary History

Defiance was originally settled as a mining colony. The world is strategically placed so forces on world can redeploy quickly to the Capellan March or Draconis March. With this in mind, the AFFS has invested heavily in the world, developing the system for its own use. In late 3059, Defiance was host to the combined elements of Task Force Serpent who arrived to train together prior to their departure for Huntress.[1][2] In 3079 Defiance also hosted a Combat Training Center.[1]
