Colonel Wayne Waco is the commander of the mercenary command called Waco's Rangers. Waco and his Rangers have pursued a vendetta against Wolf's Dragoons since an engagement between the two units in which Wayne Waco's son was killed by a Dragoon [['Mech stepping on him. The Rangers claim the incident was intentional, while the Dragoons claim it was an accident. Waco was killed leading an insurrection of disaffected MechWarriors against the Dragoons on Outreach. Though there are no witnesses to the event, Waco and his destroyed 'Mech were found near the Archer that contained a slain Jaime Wolf.
