Noran Kerensky was a Star Commander in the Wolf Empire Touman, which fough in the invaded Terra in 3151.[1]

History

Noran Kerensky was a member of Clan Wolf Touman, and also of Kerensky (Bloodname). Sometime prior to 3151, he achieved a Bloodname. During the Battle of Terra he was a Star Commander serving in Theta Galaxy, and with them he fought in the Trial against the Clan Jade Falcon.[2]

When the Falcons, during the second day of the trial, the 18 April, at the area later dubbed the Cauldron Theta Galaxy was one of those trapped by the fire. Noran was one of those fortunate enough to survive the initial fire, but the continous Falcon air and artillery attacks threatened the survival of the trapped Wolves. Noran found himself at the command of a group of four scattered Stars of OmniMehs and Elementals... but, far from retreat, Noran decided to do the most unexpected: to attack against the Falcon lines, through the fire.[3]

Not all of Noran's ad hoc members managed to survive through the fire, but most did it. They were lucky: the Falcons, apparently, didn't expect any Wolf to survive the fire, so the defenses of the first Falcon artillery battery, Forward Firew Battery Alpha, were minimal, and the enraged wolves managed to destroy all the launchers and most of their defenders. When Falcon reinforcements arrived, Noran's group did the unexpected: to return inside the fire. Then, they cuth northward, picking up more 'Mechs and Elemental survivors. They suffered more losses, but managed to survive, falling upon Forward Fire battery Beta, destroying it too, eliminating all opponents... before returning into the fire again.[4]

Incredibly, most of Noran's force, including himself, gathering more survivors and exiting out of the Cauldron by the Wolves' side. Noran's actions destroyed the last falcon artillery units, being the only positive aspect of that day's fight, saving several warriors and greatly contributing to the Wolves' victory in the trial.[5]
