The Barricade was a mercenary sub-command of Fortune Charlie unit during the Dark Age.[1]
History[edit]
The unit was under contract of the Federated Suns and in 3147 joined the Davion forces that during Operation CERBERUS managed to retake New Syrtis.[2]
During that fight, most of the unit turned on Julian Davion in the depths of the New Syrtis Cave complex, though not the company known as The Barricade. Though reduced to six 'Mechs only, they counterattacked and held a critical juncture against the Fourth McCarron's Armored Cavalry and their parent unit, being able to hold it for one hour until reinforcements from the Fifth Crucis Lancers were able to relieve them.
The surviving warriors were given citations of merit and absorbed into the Lancers.[1]
