History
He was born in Claybrooke on 3032.
He served several years in the First Free Worlds League Legionnaires as an excellent scout in and out of his 'Mech. During Operation Guerrero he often parked his 'Mech in the wilderness to investigate the towns and cities of various Sarna March worlds on foot or in a civilian vehicle) blending into the local populance.
During that operation he misidentified an organized outing of khaki-clad junior forest rangers as a March Militia infantry unit that was subsequently shelled. Though absolved of this mistake at his court martial, he never forgave himseld and departed FWLM service at the end of his tour.
He traveled to Solaris VII where he worked as a private detective until circumstances drew him back into piloting BattleMechs in the arenas.
During those years he married and got a son, his wife settling in the wilderness of Solaris VII, where she raises their young son.
It is said that Vic Travers hired him at Christina Sante's suggestion, as both had previously worked together in some of her shady work for organized crime. He adds to the team his skills as investigator, his skills as a scout and while not the most tech-savvy of the crew, he is very adept at pulling useful data out of electronic files once he has them.
Farrell generally avoids direct combat and instead serves as a scout and spotter for the rest of the Hunter's lance.[1]

In that mission the Bounty Hunter had to kill Robert Farrell as he had been bugged by Berith in order to follow them to the thropy. Prior to being killed, he asked him to take care of his wife and child.[2]
