System Description[edit]
De Berry is located near the Brookeland and Pascagoula systems. It lies Spinward from Terra.[3]
System History[edit]
The De Berry system was settled at some point during or shortly prior to the Age of War and had been incorporated into the Federated Suns by the time the Star League was founded.[4][5]

Planetary History[edit]
A local mining company is willing to help the battered Cavaliers slip past the Black Inferno blockade by hiring them to transport some precious cargo out of the system aboard an inbound JumpShip. But first, the Cavaliers must help them by defending the mining company's settlement from raider attacks and then destroying their base of operations to take them down for good.[47][48]
Geography[edit]
In the MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Campaign Missions "Imminent Threat" and "Takedown," De Berry III is twice depicted as a glacial ice biome with first reduced visibility, and later excellent visibility.[47][48]

De Berry VIII is the outermost planet in the system.[49]
Planetary History[edit]
On 27 May 3015, the battered Cavaliers received a lifeline from Sebastian Spears of Interstellar Expeditions, who was willing to help them get past the Black Inferno blockade and out of the system but that it would take time. Meanwhile, Spears identified an abandoned power plant on the outermost planet in the system that raiders had been using to store goods they pilfered from nearby mining companies. The Cavaliers went in and looted the cache, enabling Chief Tech Fahad Arazad to start the repairs to their BattleMechs and Leopard-class DropShip.[49]
Geography[edit]
In the MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Campaign Mission "Smash and Grab," De Berry VIII is depicted as a glacial ice biome with poor visibility. The world also has a distant blue-white sun.[49]
