Lesa was a Star Commander in the Fourteenth Scorpion Cuirassiers.[1]

History[edit]

Born Lesa Armstrong, she was a sixth-generation MechWarrior of the Eridani Light Horse. Rotating out to Star League embassy on Huntress with the Seventy-first Light Horse Regiment, she was taken as bondsman by the Goliath Scorpions with the rest of the unit on 10 July 3068 following a Trial of Possession. Recognized for her skills in the Trial despite losing her Commando she was extended the chance for a Trial of Position and succeeded. She became abtakha and was awarded a Commando IIC to replace her lost ’Mech and was assigned to a recon star.[2][1]

According to Khan Ariel Suvorov in February of 3075, all of the Scorpions' warriors who originated as abtakha taken from the Eridani Light Horse were dead.[3]

BattleMech[edit]

Lesa piloted a Commando and then a Commando IIC.[1]

Notes[edit]

  • Lesa is noted as a sixth-generation MechWarrior among the Light Horse, indicating ancestry from Nathan Armstrong. However Nathan was an "outsider" who joined the Light Horse at 18 (roughly 2970s as he was a Colonel in 2999) indicating he was born circa 2950s. Six generations of MechWarriors by 3067 is possible but would require vigorous recruitment. Another possibility is descent from David Armstrong. Both ancestors present an additional issue as Lesa is noted as the sixth-generation from the 71st Light Horse and both known possibilities were from the 151st Light Horse Regiment and 21st Striker Regiment respectively.
  • The Fourteenth Scorpion Cuirassiers is not known to exist.
