A native of the Lyran Commonwealth and graduate of the Combat College of New Earth, Von Carden resented the Birthday Proclamations orders for her unit to withdraw from the Rim Worlds Republic, considering it gave the RWR more opportunity to harass the Commonwealth across their shared border.[1]
