Major General Also Baarda was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 123rd Jump Infantry Division from at least 2725 to 2764.[1]

Shortly after being promoted to command the 123rd Jump Infantry Division, in 2725, Major General Baarda received a distress call from Filtvelt due to a pirate raid. Dispatching the 691st Jump Infantry Brigade from Vaucluse, Baarda's troops were able to defeat the bandits in short order, earning the Division its nickname "The Filtvelt Fusiliers".[1]
